HOLDING THE PARADOX
2026
33”X43”
ACRYLIC
This work explores the coexistence of opposing truths- certainty and mystery, surrender and control, inner perception and outward reality. The figure stands at the threshold, holding sight itself, while the world around her dissolves and reforms. She does not choose a side; she contains both.
Holding the paradox reflects the space where contradiction becomes harmony, where difference is not a fracture but a bond. It is an image of balance through tension- understanding that meaning often lives between extremes, not at either ends.
Waltz of Tulips
18x24
2025
Acrylic
This work captures the fragile yet powerful moment of rebirth from darkness into light. The man breaking free from the cracked egg is the embodiment of struggle transformed—his emergence releasing a flame that burns away despair and illuminates the path forward.
The artist uses the flame as a symbol of the soul, the inner light given to each of us, here reignited through resilience and love.
The egg, both fragile shell and cocoon of becoming, represents the confinement of depression, while the fire signifies the strength awakened in overcoming it. Tulips and winged adornments embody the nurturing presence of his wife, woven into the composition as symbols of devotion and care.
Together, these elements weave a vision of renewal: the breaking of old constraints, the igniting of hope, and the embrace of life with renewed clarity and resilience.
The Taste of Creation: Private Commission
After commissioning The Taste of Creation mural for The Melting Pot in St. Petersburg, the collector developed a deep connection to the artwork and its symbolism. Among the many elements within the mural, one particular section resonated with him so strongly that he approached Isac with a request to bring that imagery into his personal collection.
Inspired by the original mural, Isac created this one-of-a-kind commissioned painting, reimagining the collector's favorite section as a standalone work of art. The piece preserves the spirit of the monumental public artwork while transforming it into an intimate experience that could be lived with and enjoyed every day.
To further enhance the piece, Isac designed and hand-built a custom sculptural frame, allowing the melting clock form to extend beyond the boundaries of the canvas. This handcrafted element reinforces the painting's exploration of time, transformation, and the fluid nature of existence while creating a seamless dialogue between painting and sculpture.
The result is a deeply personal commission that bridges public art and private collection—allowing the collector who brought The Taste of Creation to life to carry a piece of its legacy into his own home.
